Bass Pro decides against Akron, Ohio, store, paper reports (The Springfield News-Leader)

Bass Pro Shops has decided not to open a store in Akron, Ohio, the Akron Beacon Journal reported this morning. The Springfield-based outdoor sporting goods company had submitted an application to Summit County in April for a $50 million project.
